Job Overview

$47,951 – $63,606 Annualized

You will assist people with mental illnesses, including those in dual recovery, in obtaining functioning and quality of life, by providing clinical services and education. Your primary focus is to carry a caseload of clients who are court ordered to complete services. You will work within a team that provides intensive reentry services to persons releasing from incarceration. We work collectively with our community partners, including the Boulder County jail to provide clinical services to those leaving the jail.

You will report directly to our Program Manager.

Job Profile

  • Do you excel in working with clients in the criminal justice system with moderate to high mental health and substance abuse service needs?
  • Are you familiar with moderate to high Criminogenic Risk Factors?
  • Do you want to use your well-defined experience to provide individual therapy, supportive counseling, facilitate treatment groups, and provide medication administration to clients with a high risk of recidivism?
  • Are you wanting to use your motivational interviewing, DBT, CBT and other modalities with a vulnerable population?

What We Need

  • Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or related field
  • Three (3) years clinical experience working with criminal justice populations.
  • Licensed (LCSW, LPC, or LMFT), or license eligible and ability to obtain licensure within six (6) months from hire
  • Certified Addition Specialist (CAS) or Certified Addition Counselor CAC II; not required
  • Desire to work with a vulnerable client population providing services to support re-entry
