Champions Therapist – East

If working with at risk youth is your passion and a school year schedule with summers off sounds good, then this is the position for you!

Our Prevention programs focus on meeting the child/youth where they are and working to build up the individual from the inside out. We target emotional health through mentoring, group interactions and individual counseling sessions at an assigned school using evidence based prevention curriculum. The position works independently to provide ongoing therapeutic services with assigned clients. This is full-time, non-exempt position and the pay range for this position is $16.53-$18.84/hr. . Requirements:Requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

• Master’s Degree in social work, psychology or a human services related field with counseling experience from an accredited college or university
• At least 2 yrs. experience providing services to clients with a Mental Health or Substance Abuse diagnosis
• Experience working in a school or child related setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
• Successful screenings through local law enforcement, Florida Dept. of Law Enforcement, and FBI, motor vehicle check and pre-employment drug screen
• Awareness and sensitivity to our service populations cultural and socioeconomic characteristics
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
