Job Overview

Access Living is looking for a Children’s DDA Clinical Supervisor who has experience writing Assessment and Clinical Treatment Plans for children’s DD services. This will be a full time position that includes direct care services.

This person would be accountable for:

a. The supervision of service elements of the agency, including face to face supervision of agency staff providing direct care services.

b. The observation and supervision of the direct services performed by all paraprofessional and professional staff on at least a monthly basis, or as often as necessary, to ensure staff demonstrate the necessary skills to correctly provide the DDA services.

c. Complete deadlines of required assessments, implementation plans, and reviews.

d. Plan and conduct monthly trainings for staff to fulfill continuing education units.

e. Behavior Intervention for their own roster of clients (Minimum of 15 Hours per week required)

f. Stays calm in challenging situations, maintains positive attitude, and serves as a role model for individuals served and co-workers.

g. Maintains regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.

h. Coordinates with other service providers to ensure that therapy is delivered according to authorized service plan.

i. Attends and actively participates in management team meetings.

j. Assists with program growth through marketing efforts.

k. Professional in dress and demeanor.

l. Acts with integrity and honesty and in a way that promotes the mission, vision, and values of Access Living.

QUALIFICATIONS. The clinical supervisor must meet the following requirements:

a. Must hold a bachelor’s degree in a human services field from a nationally accredited university or college.

b. Must have 1 year experience working in a Clinical Supervisor Position or Equivalent.

c. Must meet qualifications of an Intervention Specialist.

– 1 year of experience working one on one with a child with developmental disabilities.

– Completed Registered Behavior Technician(RBT) course.
