Job Description:
Position Summary: Plans and oversees the administrative and clinical operations of all inpatient acute care and residential services including case management, care coordination, therapy and support services.
Minimum Qualifications: Licensure in the State of Florida as a Clinical Social Worker. A minimum of 2 years clinical and management experience in behavioral health. Knowledge of Joint Commission, federal, state, and local standards/requirements.
Preferred Qualification: Experience with inpatient psychiatric services
Special Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Ability to give direction, work in a multi-disciplinary team, problem solve efficiently and effectively; self-directed and highly motivated
Essential Functions/Job Duties:
Implement best practices and strategies for clinical growth Provide clinical trainings for the agency and identifies opportunities for continuous development of staff Supervise staff performance and provide guidance and constructive feedback or disciplinary actions as needed Improve processes and efficiency Coordinate with other department leads on activities to improve service quality and delivery Responsible for maintaining annual budget Develop policies for clinical areas in conjunction with other program leads All other duties as assigned
Work Environment/Physical Demands: Works in well-lighted areas. Sits, stands, bends, lifts and moves intermittently during work hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is involved with clients, residents, family members, personnel, visitors, government agencies/personnel, etc., in a behavioral health setting.
Position Type, Expected Hours of Work and Travel: This is a full time, exempt position. Typical hours of work are Monday through Friday. This position may be required to work evening/weekend hours and be on call.
