The Group Facilitator is responsible for conducting educational group sessions with our clients and supporting the mission of our organization.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
1. Provide education, process and supportive groups within organization.
2. Provide support to our population in regard to substance abuse.
3. Ensure compliance with state and federal laws concerning execution of all tasks.
4. Responsible for documenting all group notes into the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines set forth by governing and accreditation agency.
5. Develop appropriate group sessions in which are approved by management prior to sessions.
6. Address all cares and concerns related to the client to the medical and/or clinical team as needed.
7. Ensure that the safety of the client is always our priority.
8. Any other duties as instructed by management.
9. Acquire and maintain all CEU, CPR, trainings, etc. as required by DCF and JCAHO.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field.
· A minimum of 2 years in the related field
