Description:

Rapidly growing counseling clinic in need of a LCSW, LSW or LPC to provide individual mental health counseling.

At Grief Relief LLC our goal is to help those who are experiencing Grief, Trauma, Loss or other behavioral health issues. We interact with our clients by “Looking Back but Living Forward”. Our Executive Director and co-owner, Michelle Kaiser, manages insurance verification, scheduling, and billing services so you don’t have to. We have an online management system for you to use for each of your patients. Paperwork and administrative duties are very minimal for clinical staff at Grief Relief, LLC. Your focus should be on treating our patients, not being consumed with paperwork.

Currently, our office is open Monday thru Thursday 8:30am – 6pm. We are looking for someone who can be available for in-person appointments Monday thru Thursday. The availability is flexible and dependent on client needs and caseload. You set your own schedule depending on if you what full or part time hours. You will have Fridays and weekends off.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete documentation within 24 hours of meeting with patients.
  • Intervene in crises in a timely and effective manner. Fulfills on-call responsibilities as needed.
  • Assesses treatment needs and develops appropriate treatment plans.
  • Work with the co-owner and Clinical Director of the practice, Lisa Zoll, on seminars, consultations, workshops and community outreach for the business and the community.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a LCSW, LSW or LPC
  • At least 2 years’ experience as a licensed professional working with individual/couples doing mental health counseling
  • Possess adequate interpersonal skills to effectively use both written and spoken language for both patients and management. Have ability to communicate clearly and understand both verbal and/or non-verbal communication. Sensitivity to differences in ages, developmental levels, and cultural backgrounds is critical. Must possess the emotional stamina to deal with a variety of stressful situations daily.
  • Practical and Theoretical knowledge of a wide range of personality dynamics, abnormal behavior, and developmental issues.
  • Demonstrate competency, knowledge, and skill with the appropriate treatment modalities to serve different patients.
  • Analytical planning and decision-making skills to effectively make accurate and rapid judgments in critical situations.
  • Have your own Professional Liability Insurance.

Compensation:

  • Negotiable depending on experience and your license. Pay is per completed client session for a 60-minute session.
  • $35 to $45 per completed session.

About Grief Relief:

  • Small patient-oriented practice. Grief Relief LLC has been in business for 3 years. Prior to that, Lisa Zoll, co-owner, was in private practice for 2 years.

Pay: $35.00 – $45.00 per hour
