This Position:
The ideal candidate has a passion for working in community mental health and has a master’s degree in Human Services/ Behavioral Sciences or related field. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, who are engaged in on-going self-exploration and growth related to race, power, and unearned advantage.
The School Based Therapist will work with dynamic team to provide quality mental health therapy to children, youth, adults, and families within the school district. Therapist will be placed in 2 to 3 schools to provide low-barrier services to student in elementary, middle and/or high school students. Evidence of skills in clinical assessment, counseling, crisis management, systems perspective, and psychoeducation. Demonstrated skill in working well under pressure to prioritize and manage multiple clinical responsibilities. This school-based position will be based out of our Edmonds or Bothell locations. This is a 40 hour a week exempt position; 5 days a week on multiple sites. Salary starts at $60,320 for Associate Licensure. (Range: $60,320 – $68,307 per year depending on experience and licensure status).
Requirements: Master’s degree in Human Services/ Behavioral Sciences or related field; at least hold an associate license in Washington State; Experience navigating different systems (schools/families); Experience working with trauma issues; Excellent organizational/administrative skills with good computer skills; Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team; Ability to adapt to change; Sense of humor.
