Since 1971, Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board has provided a comprehensive continuum of high-quality, essential, and community-based services to citizens of the Peninsula who are affected by mental illness, developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders.
Partners in Recovery (PIR) provides comprehensive outpatient substance use and co-occurring treatment services for adults, age 18 and over. Services include: Outpatient, Intensive Outpatient, Office-based Opioid treatment (Buprenorphine/Suboxone) and a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program.
The Licensed Clinician manages a caseload of managed care clients with mental illness and/or co-occurring substance related disorders in an outpatient setting involving assessment evaluations of in-coming clients and ongoing therapy. Involves decision making and application of complex theoretical approaches to individual, group and family therapy, educational sessions.
