This position is located at Department of Mental Health/Columbia Area Mental Health Center, CAF School Mental Health Services, CAMHC #103
Under general supervision, provide advanced assessment, crisis management, short- and long-term individual and family therapy, and case management services for children and their families who present with psychiatric needs. The main goal of interventions will be to reduce psychiatric symptomatology and increase positive functioning within a variety of ecological systems. Services are delivered in school-based setting. As a school based counselor in mental health services, you may be assigned to Richland School District I, II or Lexington/Richland 5, whichever school district is in need of providing school-based services to their students. Also requires the ability to do concurrent documentation.

State Requirements: A master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or a related field.
