Peak Behavioral Health is an integrated behavioral health care clinic with two physical locations; Little Canada, Minnesota and St. Cloud, Minnesota. Peak is a multidisciplinary team comprised of culturally informed, trauma-responsive and clinically trained Psychotherapists and Medication Providers who are committed to celebrating diversity and improving access to behavioral health services.

Peak is hiring part-time and full-time Psychotherapists who are looking for a place to call home. Being at our stage of growth, we are looking for clinicians who want to stick around longterm and build and grow in your career WITH US.

Position Overview

Psychotherapist will provide outpatient mental health services to clients of Peak. Services are primarily provided in-office but due to the Covid-19 pandemic, some sessions will be provided via tele-health. Psychotherapy services include treatment of children, adolescents, adults, couples and families.

Reports To

  • Clinical Supervisor

Psychotherapist Duties

  • Have a minimum of 20 client contact hours available per week
  • Perform psychotherapy services to clients in a professional manner that maintain and uphold the values and reputation of Peak.
  • Reliable attendance and timely arrival to sessions.
  • Timely completion of all clinical documentation.
  • Coordination of care with clients other providers.
  • Attend and participate in clinical staff meetings and trainings.
  • Any other duties that are important to your role, assigned by Peak.

Basic Qualifications

  • Masters degree from accredited school
  • Malpractice Insurance
  • Culturally-Informed
  • Experience using EHR
  • Tech savvy
  • Easy to work with, positive attitude

Minimum Qualifications

  • Masters degree from accredited school
  • No prior history of misconduct (sexual, ethical, etc.)
  • Knowledge of professional code of ethics and boundaries

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active license as LICSW, LMFT or LPCC
  • Prior experience serving clients in an outpatient mental health setting
  • Knowledge of family systems
  • Culturally-informed
  • Basic technical skills (email, word, fax, apps, etc.)
  • Experience using an Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
  • Proven ability to work independently
  • Manage and maintain schedule and availability
