If so, we’d love to connect with you! We are Mental Health Cooperative (MHC), and we’re looking for a Resident Counselor to join our team! You’ll help consumers with on-site problem solving, development and implementation plans to meet immediate and/or long-term needs while while admitted to BCC Treatment programs.

To join our team, you’ll need:

  • Problem solving skills to engage psychiatric consumers during BCC treatment programs
  • Compassion and empathy while maintaining continuous and consistent communication with consumers while admitted to BCC treatment programs
  • A collaborated spirit working with staff, supervisors, and consumers
  • Effective communication skills to support consumer during crisis episode to seek resolution
  • Flexibility to changing needs that help support best outcomes for consumers
  • Bachelor’s degree in Health-related field (Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work)

We’re especially looking for someone who’s:

  • Experience in supporting individuals during crisis within a treatment program
  • Proficient in taking vital signs
