Job Description
As a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT) at Highland Ridge, you will have the opportunity to have a lasting impact on the people you serve.
You will work with a team of nurses and therapists to provide a positive, supportive and structured environment for your patients during their stay. The groups and activities you lead will help develop your patients’ skills that are needed to achieve their treatment goals. By working with the clinical team, you will play an important role in helping your patients obtain a sense of contentment and self-acceptance while ultimately increasing their overall quality of life.
Essential Functions
- Provide an environment of well-being, safety and comfort for your patients
- Interact with patients throughout the day in activities designed to encourage recovery
- Conduct safety checks of the unit and supervision of patients
- Document and communicate your patient observations with the clinical team
- Oversee and assist patients with their activities of daily living

Highschool/GED or higher
Licenses & Certifications
- CPR Certification
Schedule Requirements
- Three 12 hour shifts per week
- Must be able to work a rotating schedule to include weekends and holidays
