Job Description
Social Service agency is seeking motivated individuals to work with at-risk youth in a residential setting.
Responsibilities include providing direct supervision to youth ages 13-17 and assisting with supportive counseling, educational training programs, and developing community support services.
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree and one year of experience working with adolescents. A car and driver’s license are required.
The Full Time hours for the position are 4pm-12am including weekends (Saturday and Sunday). Programs are located in Union County.
One week of PAID orientation is required prior to the start of your assignment. Ongoing PAID training outside of normal work hours is also required.

Responsibilities
- Provides training for daily living skills, supportive counseling, and community integration for at-risk youth
- Transports members to medical appointments, recreation activities, etc.
- Helps ensure a safe, clean, organized, environment
- Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards
- Physically remains on the premises of assigned location for the duration of the shift, unless directed elsewhere by management or a supervisor
- Attends required trainings, staff meetings, and other meetings/events as requested
- Performs other duties as required
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS)
- One year of experience working with at-risk youth
- Highly organized and self-motivated
- Able to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Car to use for work purposes
- Willing and able to attend required trainings outside of normal work hours (between the hours of 9am-5pm)
