Do include the university or trade school name, program name or degree type, and enrollment dates. List any certifications or licenses you obtained after college if they are related to the position you are applying for. Also, list any residencies or other programs that teach you relevant skills. 

Don’t list your GPA or K-12 education experience unless specifically asked or related to the job. Some entry-level healthcare jobs only require a high school diploma or GED to qualify.  

Personal Information 

Do include your full name, phone number, and email address at the top of your resume. Make sure to use a professional-looking email address. In your career goals section, talk about your career aspirations and why you are passionate about the position.  

Don’t include your address unless specifically asked for in your resume. Also, keep personal information like marital status, number of children, sexual orientation, and religious beliefs out of the resume. This information is unnecessary and may harm your chances of getting a callback.
