Remote Telehealth Behavior Interventionist/RBT/Tutor/Therapist

The ABRITE Organization is seeking a 100% remote telehealth part-time Behavior Interventionists/Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to provide behavioral intervention with children 1 to 18 years of age in the state of California.

• APPLICANT MUST RESIDE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA.

Preferred location of Santa Cruz County, Santa Clara County, Ventura/Oxnard & Orange County

Details of the position:

The position of the interventionist entails delivering intensive 1:1 behavioral instruction via telehealth to the children in our program in their natural environment. Instruction is structured and extensive data collection occurs on all learning targets.

The desired applicant should be available anywhere between 1pm – 7pm on the days they are available, as this is the timeframe that sessions tend to occur.

Prior to beginning instruction with our learners, all interventionists are provided with extensive remote training on the methods of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Behavior interventionists are taught how to increase the acquisition of skills in all developmental domains while decreasing problem behaviors that interfere with learning.

After remote training, all behavior interventionists who meet performance criteria can sit for the RBT exam (with reimbursement for 1 test fee). If the exam is passed within 90 days of employment, employees will be eligible for a promotion.

Requirements:

• Located in the state of California
  • Preferred location of Santa Cruz County, Santa Clara County, Ventura/Oxnard & Orange County
• Workstation must be approved
• Must be interested in learning about ABA
• Must be an energetic person who enjoys working with children.
• Spanish speaking is a plus, but not a requirement.
