Other things to keep an eye out for include spelling and grammar mistakes, an impossibly high starting salary, or promises of advancement within a short period of time. Any legitimate company would not make such boastful statements as it will attract the wrong type of candidates.

  • Managerial style – Another common red flag with jobs is how they manage their staff. You want to find a company that can effectively manage its employees in a way that promotes well-being, inclusivity, and productivity.  

As you are reading the job description, look for specific keywords that indicate a healthy work environment, like good work-life balance, positive reinforcement, and a productive atmosphere.
